Our Costs

Our costs are fixed for individual meetings (the MIAM) and joint meetings, so you know what you will be paying beforehand.

Individual Meetings

The MIAM

£150

(per person)

Everyone wanting to use mediation must have an individual meeting with us first. These last up to 1 hour and take place online. These are very important as they give you a lot of information about mediation and other options available to you, and they provide invaluable information to us to enable us to help you during the joint phase of mediation.

Joint Meetings

Including prep and follow up

£330

(per person)

This is the per person cost for each joint mediation meeting, including all of our preparation and follow up work for that meeting. It usually takes at least 3 hours to prepare for, hold and do the follow up work for a joint meeting, so our fixed cost equates to a maximum of £110 per hour per person. We choose to charge a fixed cost so our clients know exactly how much each meeting will cost. We also offer the government Family Mediation Voucher to clients who need to discuss arrangements for their children.

Other Work

Always agreed beforehand

£125

(per hour, per person)

Other work might include formally recording decisions at the conclusion of mediation in a memorandum and financial statement. It might be instructing an independent lawyer to provide an opinion on a fair outcome, or preparing letters of instruction. Whether you might want these will depend on circumstances. This will always be your decision and we will always discuss this with you first.
